Pita Africa is a Tanzanian mining company dedicated to responsibly harnessing the country's rich natural resources to create sustainable economic value. Founded in 2021 and strategically revitalized in 2024 with the support of international partners, our mission is to become a leading supplier of high-quality graphite to global markets.
Our mining site, located in Moshi, Kilimanjaro, spans over 115 hectares and holds one of Tanzania’s largest confirmed graphite deposits, estimated at over 1.5 million metric tons of recoverable graphite ore and also a very large asset of dolomite. With cutting-edge geological research and modern technology, we are preparing to launch full-scale extraction operations by early 2025.
At Pita Africa, we are more than just a mining company—we are a team driven by integrity, innovation, and long-term impact.
